To all out there who are lamenting the demise of Mike Smith's Political Commentary Blog I offer a very insubstantial alternative and that is that we meet and debate here. I am in no way going to attempt to emulate the inimitable Mr Smith, but I do feel that the right-minded contributors on his blog need a place to share views and information.

I refer specifically to people like Boere Ninja, Boere La Cosa Nostra, Graeme, White Oak, Detroit, Dingo, Remember Weenen, Stephen, and all the others of similar ilk. JP & I already have a WhatsApp group going with the likes of LTMA, Whiteman, Heinrich Westphal and some others from MS, but we need the rest too.

I don't know how to get the message to all. I have asked Mike to advertise something along these lines, but I don't know if he will. So I'm putting this out there in the hopes that some of you see it and join in.

All are free to post topics for discussion and share any information relevant to the current nightmare in this country.

    TT, congratulations with this venture of yours ! I fully agree that contributors should use some form of identification. This was a serious deficiency on the MS blog, although I think he tried, ( in vain ), to change that. You just can not have a meaningful debate with people when you don't know who they are. It leads to misunderstanding, and often unnecessary hostility. I would also recommend that contributors who participated on the MS blog, maintain the same identity. Or at least inform us of your previous identity. No doubt, there will be cyber-trolls to contend with, but it is the webmasters democratic right, to choose how to deal with that !

    Whiteman, I am not as well-read, by half as Mike. I am not as astute and definitely less diplomatic than him.

    Do you think, the cyber-trolls understand the meaning of "fuck off"?

    And, it's not MY venture, my mate. It's all of our's venture. Chip in, not only with comments but if anybody wants to post something people should mail it to aquamarinetechnc@gmail.com and I'll post it.
